Camping Near Ferrari Land

Opened in 2017, Ferrari Land is the only Ferrari-branded theme park in Europe. The centrepiece is Red Force, a 112-metre-tall accelerator coaster that launches riders from zero to 180 km/h in just five seconds before climbing vertically into the sky. The sensation is as close to a Formula 1 start as most people will ever experience. Beyond Red Force, the park features Racing Legends — a dark ride through Ferrari's motorsport history using projection-mapped sets and physical scenery — and Maranello Grand Race, where families drive electric replicas around an Italian-village circuit. Younger children enjoy the junior driving school and the Thrill Towers free-fall rides. There is also a gallery of iconic Ferrari road and racing cars, including genuine F1 chassis. Ferrari Land is compact compared with the main PortAventura park, so most visitors combine the two in one day using a combined ticket. The architecture recreates Italian piazzas, with restaurants serving wood-fired pizza, gelato and espresso — a welcome change of pace from typical theme-park food. The Pit Stop lounge offers craft cocktails for adults while children play nearby. Access from Camping La Noria mirrors the PortAventura route: 20 minutes south on the AP-7 or a Rodalies R17 train to Port Aventura station. A combined two-park ticket usually costs only marginally more than a single-park ticket when bought online, making it excellent value. Parking is shared with PortAventura. Staying at Camping La Noria gives families a cost-effective home base with the added benefit of returning to a beachside campsite after the adrenaline of the parks. The relaxed pace of Torredembarra's seafront is the perfect counterbalance to a day of high-speed thrills.
