Camping Near the GR-92 Coastal Path
The GR-92 is Spain's Mediterranean coastal long-distance trail, stretching over 580 kilometres along the entire Catalan coast. What makes it special for guests at Camping La Noria is that the trail passes directly by the campsite — step out of your pitch and you are on one of Europe's great walking routes.

Having a long-distance coastal trail starting at your campsite gate is a rare luxury. The GR-92 lets you walk as little or as much as you like — from a 30-minute stroll to a headland viewpoint to a full-day hike along the coast. It adds an active, exploratory dimension to your camping holiday that complements days on the beach.
How to Get There
You are already there. The GR-92 passes within metres of Camping La Noria. Step out of the campsite entrance and follow the red-and-white GR waymarks in either direction.

Best Time to Visit
Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-October) are the finest hiking seasons — mild temperatures, wildflowers or autumn light, and empty trails. Summer mornings (before 10:00) and late afternoons (after 17:00) are also good, but midday is too hot for exposed coastal walking. Winter can be pleasant for walking, though the campsite is closed.
Tips
- Carry plenty of water, especially in summer — there are few fountains on the coastal sections between towns.
- Use the Rodalies R17 train as a one-way shuttle: hike north to Altafulla or south to Tarragona, then catch the train back to Torredembarra.
- Download the Wikiloc app for detailed GPS tracks of each GR-92 section with user photos and notes.
